DrayTek VigorAP 805

DrayTek VigorAP 805 is a high-performance desktop dual-band Mesh access point with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) support, designed for home use, retail shops and businesses that need reliable and fast wireless connectivity. It works on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, offering AX3000 speeds for advanced wireless coverage. Supports up to 8 SSIDs per band and up to 256 wirelessly connected users (128 per band). It can work in a Mesh topology and as a range extender, while providing advanced WLAN security.

 

The hardware interface includes two LAN ports (1 x 2.5Gbps and 1 x 10/100/1000 Mbps), button for wireless connection to Mesh, button for factory reset and socket for DC power supply.

 

Security features include WPA3, WPA2 and WPA. It has Airtime fairness and band steering for optimal network performance, while it can function as a virtual controller with Zero Touch Deployment support allowing the central management of other access points. In addition, it can act as a node AP (managed) and root AP (managing up to 20 devices).
