Vigor2135 series includes Single WAN broadband security firewall routers with 1x Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, 4x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and 2x USB ports for connecting either a 3G/4G/LTE modem (for use as a backup connection) or a printer. With VPN, QoS, firewall, content filtering, bandwidth management and more, Vigor2135 routers are the ultimate routers. The strong point of this seris is the acceleration of NAT sessions through hardware thus offering a high throughput over 900Mbps.

All models have up to 2 VPN channels and support LAN-to-LAN and Remote Teleworking VPN, with all known PPTP, L2TP, IPsec, GRE and SSL VPN protocols. In addition, they have a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) Firewall and flexible filtering rules. With an annual subscription to Cyren Web Content Filtering, websites are filtered by category and restrictions can be placed to ban entire website categories (such as social networking pages, gambling, etc.) without having to block every single site. Separately. A 30-day trial is available for free with every router.

Vigor2135ac is one of the three wireless models of Vigor2135 series, providing 802.11ac Wave 2 2x2 MU-MIMO 867Mbps at 5G WLAN and 802.11n 2x2 MIMO 400Mbps at 2.4G WLAN.

The routers of Vigor2135 series can act as a central management console for other Vigor devices on the network, including VigorAPs, and can manage up to 2 Access Points (VigorAPs).
