DrayTek Vigor2136ax is a Dual-WAN (fw V.5.4.0) wireless broadband router features a 2.5G WAN port and is designed for businesses and demanding users seeking advanced connectivity, security, and management features.

Its hardware interface includes two 2.5G ports, one for WAN and one for LAN, which can be configured as a second WAN. Additionally, it has three LAN ports, two USB ports, and buttons for factory reset and WLAN/WPS.

Vigor2136ax supports Wi-Fi 6 with up to 16 SSIDs (8 per band), excellent roaming, band steering, advanced wireless security, and wireless user access management.

Vigor2136ax runs DrayTek’s new DrayOS 5 operating system, supporting IAM (Identity and Access Management), allowing the application of policies for managing and controlling user access to business resources. It also supports up to sixteen VPN tunnels, enabling Site-to-Site VPN and Teleworker VPN creation via IPsec, IKEv1/IKEv2, IKEv2-EAP, IPsec-XAuth, OpenVPN, and WireGuard protocols.

Advanced features of the Vigor2136ax include bandwidth management policies (QoS, VoIP prioritization, IP-based bandwidth limits, etc.), failover capability, WAN data budgeting, support for up to 8 VLANs (802.1q Tag-based, Port-based), a built-in DHCP server, and a Hotspot Web Portal with "click through" authentication and external portal server support. It also provides advanced security features, traffic monitoring, and can function as a virtual controller for free management of up to 20 access points (up to 7 in mesh mode) and 5 DrayTek switches. It is also manageable through DrayTek’s VigorACS platform.
